A SALVADORAN TALENT

Luis Salvador Efraín Salazar Arrué: A Salvadoran talent

''SALARRUÉ''

First steps as an artist:

He went to study with scholarship to the United States in 1916.

After living in New York, he comes to El Salvador in 1919.
There the young man wanted to live the painting, but had to face the reality of non-existent art market and some of his paintings the finished giving.

In 1923, he married Zélie Lardé, also devoted himself to painting. The couple had three daughters.

Literary works:

Cuentos de Barro was written by Salarrue and published in 1933.
As in his other work cuentos de Cipotes in 1945 has managed to identify it with the atmosphere of the peasantry, which is a novelty in Salvadoran literature.

Cuentos de Cipotes was written by Salarrué in 1943.

Partially in 1943 and in full in 1961, this work was

presented in the newspaper Patria by Alberto Masferrer.

This literary work has been appreciated and recognized by many Salvadorans.

And besides these works they will be read by the new generations, At present work is being Salarrue evidenced by their peculiarity in their language I use in his writings.
These works were made with effort and dedication of a large Salvadoran artist.(salarrue).
His works were being popular demand the Salvadoran public.

Besides Salarrue Salvadorans are other artists that their works are recognized by many national and international anivel people. For example Claudia Lars, Alberto Masferrer, Manlio Argueta, Roque Dalto, Alfredo Espino, among others. And it has been placed on behalf of El Salvador in other countries.

In my opinion the Salvadoran artists have been a way to put the name of El Salvador, it is important to recognize the work of Salvadoran artists and know that in our country there are very talented.
